Each opera included is graced by the voice of maestro Luciano Pavarotti in the lead tenor roles, as well as other greats including Joan Sutherland, Mirella Freni, Montserrat Caballe, Christa Ludwig, Sherrill Milnes, Rolando Panerai, Dwayne Croft, Cecilia Bartoli, Ramon Vargas, and others. Conducting is handled by maestros Herbert von Karajan, Zubin Mehta, and James Levine. Can you imagine a better way to celebrate Puccini, celebrate opera, than this box set?...at this price?
