A friend of mine had Mark and myself over for dinner and Mark shared this track with us. He said the original idea behind the arrangement was one of hope and redemption, but after meditating on the true nature of the songs inclusion on this compilation, he charged the Orchestra and it's director with a different task. It is the saddest musical moment I have ever heard. The Orchestra plays a low peddle while Mark's violin becomes a mournfull bag-pipe suffering the losses of the lost and their families. We stood in the living room and cried. Sometimes it's just not proper to look ahead and press on. Sometimes suffering is the correct response."
