A little cheesy, but it grows on you

"My parents, much to my chagrin when I was a teenager, got this album one Christmas. At first I couldn't stand it--some of the songs sounded too polka-esque. I kept getting horrid visions of Laurence Welk and bubbles. Now even some of these have a warm fuzzy place in my heart. This album has the most gorgeous version of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" and "Lo How a Rose ere Blooming." Most of the songs are arranged with choirs and are fantastic. Just go along with some of the cheesy ones and enjoy the great ones. I'd go ahead and recommend it."
