Looking for music to practice body slams by? Look no further: the soundtrack from MTV's "reality" series WWF Tough Enough provides enough musical mayhem to keep those testosterone levels elevated for weeks. Kicking off the first track, Drowning Pool's growled injunction "Let the bodies hit the floor" sets the tone for the whole enterprise. This is aggro-rock at its most belligerent, with shrieking buzzsaw guitars and riffs heavier than Man Mountain Dean. Highlights include Alien Ant Farm's unlikely, head-banging cover of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal," the Deftones' anthemic "Digital Bath," and Mudvayne's screamfest "Dig." Buckcherry's "Slamin'" brings to mind AC/DC or early G&R and is such a slice of old-fashioned ass-kicking raunch you just might want to scrub underneath your fingernails afterwards. Also included are live versions of songs from Disturbed and Papa Roach as well as a track by a currently unsigned band, the subtly named Big Mother Thruster. Kids, don't try this at home. --Mary Park
