OMIT THE "NAME GAME" AND YOU'VE GOT A GOOD CD

"I have hated the "Name Game" since I was three. It is idiotic, darned irritating, makes no sense and is sheer torture to have to tolerate. I can, to this day, remember saying, "That's not a song. It's stupid and bad because those aren't REAL words. I'm glad MY name's not in it." Jackhammers, the train whistle and construction equipment are beautiful music compared to this atrocious junk. The other tunes are good, clean fun. Leave the insane, idiotic "Name Game" out and you've got yourself a good cd."

"These are all tunes I grew up hearing back in the early to mid-1960s. They had extended airplay on New York's many Top 40 Radio Stations & could be heard several times a day, 7 days a week, too. Unfortunately the only NY/NJ area Oldies Station now is WCBS-FM 101.1, which thankfully still plays this type of music, in fact they play just about everything from the 50s to the 80s. Nowadays, though, unlike the days of old, they at least play such a wide variety of rock, pop, soul, r&b, etc. that it is extremely rare to hear the same tunes several times a day, which is a good thing. This is a wonderful series to add to any collection of golden oldies. Very highly recommended."
