"This is one volume among another series released by MCA in the earliest days of the CD format, and long since surpassed by countless multi-track compilations complete with discographies and voluminous liner notes, such as you get from Ace of London and Eric Records, to name two of the better examples.



This has nothing in the way of liner notes or discography, and is desirable only for the quality of the AAD sound reproduction and the inclusion of two tracks that are, even today, very hard to find. That would be The Dawn Of Correction, the fall 1965 # 36 "answer song" to Barry McGuire's Eve Of Destruction for the group calling themselves The Spokesmen. The other is That Acapulco Gold by The Rainy Daze, a # 70 in March 1967.
