"Most of the singers on this Ashford & Simpson tribute were second tier or background Motown singers, which means that they are all talented, but never got the songs or the breaks. Martha Reeves is the exception. Other singers are Syreeta, Betty Lavette, who does a great version of Diana Ross's Surrender, Francis Nero, Sherrie Payne (Supreme, post Diana Ross) and Pat Lewis. The production quality is not as good as the original Motown sound, but if you love Ashford and Simpson songs sung by some talented, and strong vocalists, this will not disappoint."

"This album is for anyone whose Ashford and Simpson collection is too small. (Ten CDs was too small for me.) Some songs have been changed a little, and "Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thing" is unrecognizable. "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" is very close to the Diana Ross version. There are some great songs like "I Can't Give Back The Love I Feel For You" which sound just like my Ashford and Simpson albums. This is a good album for anyone who can't get enough of their great music."
