CD Reviews

As good as positive energy

"this album is well worth your money if you're into good euro-progressive house and trance by not-well known artists. Most "trance" compilations have songs that are frequently played on stations and you hear all the time. I guess that's fine if you want to get that album just for that song, but if you're like me and you want to just make a blind pick at an album that looks promising....then get this and might i suggest tranzworld 2 & 3. all of them have continous mixing and they are all in the trance spirit...building up and up and then a cascade of sound. in conclusion.....highly, highly recommended. if you've heard of or own positive energy, then this is the same thing. Nice European like progressive house.....quit reading this and download a song..you'll know what i mean"

"An interesting mix. I certainly have a lot of respect for the DJs and hope to go to Webster Hall one day. It's good to know that one can actually buy good club music in this country."
Excellent

"Just to mention this...The songs on this CD are not 160+ BPM as one of my fellow reviewers pointed out... 160BPM is extremely fast and falls under the category of underground-industrial-techno.TranzWorld however, is a mixture of 120-140BPM songs of euro-techno, euro-trance, eurogressive and euro-house tracks... What makes this compilation great is the origin of the tracks...If you've noticed, all the tracks are European... compared to the U.S. freestyle/club junk, of course it is amazing...my point is, even though Webster Hall has managed to get some great stuff on the disc, some tracks just don't cut it as the best from Europe.Probably the best song on this compilation is YOU AND I by GRIFFEN, which is track #1."
