CD Reviews

AWESOME!

"This is how tribute albums should be done. Put all hard rock/heavy metal performers on it so it's a hard solid performance all the way through. And what a tribute it is. Every song rocks. One of the biggest surprises on here is Joe Lynn Turner(former Rainbow vocalist), doing Back In Black with Black with Phil Collen on guitar. Man, how come he doesn't shred with Def Leppard. Another equally great one is Sin City with Jack Russell and Mark Kendall of Great White. But my two favorites on this one are the SLAMMIN' version of Little Lover and T'N'T, both sung by Bon-soundalike Sebastian Bach. The first with Ratt's DeMartini on guitat and the second with Kim Deal on guitar, who does an excellent job. Bach sounds so good on Little Lover it's incredible. Great job to all performers and any fan of AC/DC will want this."
Unleashes AC/DC's ripping, go to hell attitude

"This album is one of the truest tributes I've heard. Featuring a variety of musicians, this CD tears through AC/DC classics--both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson eras. The artists open fire with their own versions to such AC-DAC hits as TNT, Ride On, Whole Lot of Rosie, etc. Listen to Bob Kulick and John Corabi rip into Shake a Leg with venomous zeal. As an extra incentive, Motorhead blasts through It's a Long Way to the Top with Lemmy's straining vocals. A must for the AC/DC fan."
One of the best tribute CDs.

"I grew up listening to 80' heavy metal bands, and having them do some songs of my favorite band is great. All the songs are worth listening, with the highlights being Quiet Riot doing "Highway to Hell," Great White doing "Sin City," Twisted Sister doing "Walk All Over You," and Ugly Kid Joe doing "Live Wire." If you are an AC/DC fan, you will enjoy this album."
