CD Reviews

Just incredibly mixed! Good on you Y&Co. and B4 ZA Beat!

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Disc 1 Male Side

Nonstop by Y&Co.

WOW, this is such a cool mix. There are so many samples in this mix such as "Domino - Tora Tora Tora" and "Danny Keith - Sex Over The Phone" also the beginning was the best! It starts of very quiet for about a minute and then explodes into a sampling from an 80's music video clip. I forgot what the song's called but it's the one where the Father talks to his son going "Who are you? Where do you come from? Are you listening to me? What do you wanna do with your life?" Many of the songs are mixed extremely well, it doesn't sound boring at all it's very cool. I can't believe Y&Co. did this it's really quite different to what he did with the Initial D Nonstop Selection, that was pretty good too but this as much much better it sounds like B4 Za Beat did this.

Disc 2. Female Side

Nonstop by B4 Za Beat.

Ahem... OMFG THIS IS THE BEST NONSTOP MIX I HAVE EVER HEARD!!!!!!!! This has got to be some of B4 Za Beat's best work. He samples so many songs like "Coo Coo - Upside Down" and "Domino - Give Me Five". He also does a little break in the middle after "Domino - Spinning Like A Top" where it quiets down and then you hear what sounds like a mother and child talking before "Salt & Pepper - Radio" comes on. It has great transitions the best will have to be the one between "A-Beat Sisters - Go Baby Go" and "Virginelle - Hot Love & Emotion" in which he samples four other Virginelle songs and even intergrates them into "Hot Love & Emotion". They are "Kiss Me Kiss Me Babe", "Why Not", "Mystery In Love" and "Don't You Love Me", it's incredibly cool and if you're a Virginelle fan like me you'd have a big smile on your face like I did. Also for anyone who's a Clara Moroni, Elena Gobbi and Alessandra Gatti fan you'd absolutely love this as 80% of the songs are sung by them.

This has got to be one of the best Anniversary Releases ever, though SEB 70 is still the best IMHO. There's a CD single here with ELT covers. The best is Domino's Feel My Heart, then Cherry's Dear Best Friend then Helena's Future World. All are great but that is just my preference. This album is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!! Great work from both DJ Boss and DJ Shu."
