"No "That's My Stuff" is not a collection of reefer songs, this is rare Chicago jazz recorded between 1929-1930. Some of the highlights of this exciting CD are "It's Bad for Your Soul" performed by Helen Savage & Her Dixie Syncopators, "Dyin' with the Blues" performed by Alex Hill(composer of jazz standard "I Would Do Anything For You") And His Orchestra, "Don't Give It Away" performed by Harry Dial's Blusicians, and two different versions of "That's My Stuff" performed by Lloyd Smith's Gut-Bucketeers. Fun and essential jazz remastered superbly by John R.T. Davies, who has done a fine job remastering all of the CD's in this series of Frog series. Also listen for some early Earl Hines piano solos on various bands in this superb collection of hot 20's jazz rarities. Essential. Also try these fine CD's in the Frog series "Don't You Leave Me," "Sizzlin' The Blues" and "Memphis Stomp" just to name three other essential titles."
