CD Reviews

It depends on what you already have and what you want

"Keeping in mind that one of the main purposes of the Jock Jams line is music to play at sporting events, this is a great choice. Fans usually enjoy hearing what they're familiar with, and this is a good mix of old and new favorites. There's also more real songs and less ESPN add-ins on this volume. On the other hand, if you're a serious Sports Jams collector and you already own the rest of the Jock Jams / Jock Rock line, you already have 7 of the 17 songs on this CD. If the other 10 are worth the price, go for it. Otherwise, spend your money on one of the other volumes with more songs that aren't already in your library."
Lets Get Ready To Rumble!!!!!!

"Hi! I love this CD!!!! I don't own it, but I've listened to all the songs. Lets Get Ready To Rumble, Whoomp There It Is, and Get Ready For This rock!!!! I am trying out for cheerleading soon and these songs would be great to tryout with. And all of you who think that I only want to do this because Get Ready For This was on Bring It On, a cheerleading movie, you're wrong. The song has a great beat. I have this one song from one of the Jock Jams albums on my computer which is a mix of these three songs and some more. I love it!!! This CD is great, and cheers me up! :)

"With a few exceptions, this collection is just a tired retread of a bunch of songs that have appeared on various "Jock Jams," "Jock Rock" and "Greatest Sports and Jock Jams" collections. The addition of alternative/dance artists like Moby, Fatboy Slim and Groove Armada does little to offset played-to-death radio fodder by Britney Spears and N'SYNC and old chestnuts like "Get Ready for This" and "Whoomp! There It Is" which have appeared on countless other similar collections."
