CD ReviewsSistah's doin' it for themselves... 09/01/1999 (4 out of 5 stars) "It's good, low, sultry and smooth. I think they have a good range of bands represented here and although not all of the songs on this compilation are indicitive of the rest of their individual CD's, this arrangement is nice. Trip Hop is taking a new direction with less distortion (Portishead) and replacing it with more lightness in these girls voices. The drum n' bass is not as hip-hop as it has been, more subtle and this makes a nice going to bed (alone or not...) album."
