Another Excellent CD from Dan Gibson

"This is a 60:00 continuous play CD with two 30:00 tracks.
1. Dawn on the Desert presents a most vivid recording of daybreak. The merciless sun and endless parched sand dunes are absent in this morning mood. Saguaro cactuses radiate their roots far and wide, giving residence to the Gila Woodpecker and Cactus Wren. Coyotes cry and the cooling wind moans - the desert has a peace all its own.
2. Among the Mountain Canyons and Valleys is a magnificent transcendental setting. Streams guide along valley floors, only to vanish at the desert's edge. Whip-poor-wills and Whiskered Owls venture throughout. In the distance, the torching sun and sand threatens, only to be suppressed by a welcomed and cherished thunderstorm.
This is another excellent CD from the Dan Gibson Solitudes collection. It has no music, just nature sounds, and it does remind me of the deserts in the southwest United States. It is one of my favorite CD from the Solitudes collection. Highly recommended!"
