"I live in Orlando, FL, but I am a Trini to de bone! If it's one thing that I know, it's soca...and I must set the record straight. The original song, "Doggie" was sung by Anslem Douglas of Trinidad & Tobago. It was redone by Byron Lee & the Dragonaires (as they do with most of the songs on their CDs). It was later brought to the mainstream audience by the Bahamen. Just had to clear that up. Have to give full credit where credit is due."
