"....I'm not a fan of so-called Ol' Skool collections. I used to be, when they first started out. I loved finding the songs I dug and grooved to when I was younger on CDs--but now that I'm older, I can see thru most of the smoke and mirrors. This Slow Jams Timeless Collection is good, in my opinion, because it has really rare finds on it. (Not just the Isley's "Between the Sheets" which is another jam I think has become ubiquitous because of these ol' skool collections, ol' skool radio stations, and drive time contemporary R and Bee radio stations who feel they are really doing us the audience a favor by playing a classic tune...enuff is enuff, people.) Debra Laws' "Very Special", the Unifics' "Beginning of My End", my favorite soul falsetto group the Enchantments' "Where Do We Go From Here", and Barbra Lewis' "From His Woman to You" the R and Bee answer to Shirley Brown's "Woman to Woman" are on this great collection. Overall, I feel the any of the Timeless Collection represented by this Volume, is a good buy."

"as a product of the late 70s and 80s i can surely appreciate the colaboration of the hot songs that were put together in this cd but most of all loves train is a classic that could be remade today and be a hit all over again"
