"This CD is sick. Awesome aggro-industrial bands doing covers of songs you already know. How good can it get?! Diatribe's cover of "Cold Sweat" is by far the premiere track...probably because Diatribe is the best industrial band, ever. It's all good, yo."

A classic Reconstriction release

"Babyland's cover of Madonna's Burnin' Up is my personal favorite on this album. There's way more here than Sascha and KMFDM. And yes, it does have it's high and low points since each song is so unique in it's own way. But there's so much diversity on this album that I'd say there's something for everyone here, which is the reason I gave it 5 stars as opposed to 4. This album is a moment in history that just cannot be replaced. Of course, you'll find your own favorite here, as just about all sub-genres of electronic music are covered here; that's what makes the album so special. And it's fun. Which is the reason Re-Constriction was my favorite record label for so long.Cleopatra does alot of Tribute/Cover-based compilations, but most of them seem forced as opposed to this release. The Re-Constriction cover albums are more about the music, whereas Cleopatra's are more about the money.Check out TV Terror, cyberPunk Fiction (an electro interpretation of the Pulp Fiction soundtrack) or any of the others I can't think of at this time.As someone said earlier, DISCOVER BABYLAND! They are, imo, a band pushing the electro-experimental scene in the right direction. Still, I'll also stick by my own statement that there's something here for everyone... even if Babyland's cover doesn't end up being your favorite."

"Good cd, it has it's high points and low points... most cd's do. This one introduced me to one of my favorite bands, BABYLAND. High points are BABYLAND, Diatribe, Virus 23, Xorcist, etc. Reconstriction records was my favorite label because of good fun cd's like this one, I wish they were still around. Anyways, if you haven't heard it you should have by now! Get with it!Discover who BABYLAND is while you're at it!!"
