On most of the "various artist" CD's, you find songs that you already have in your collection. This CD is different, it has music being performed by known artists, but the song selection is usually different than what you already have in your colletion. I highly recommend this CD as a strong addition to what you already own. If you are new to the blues, this would be an excellent start to an excellent collection.

Worth so much more

"i was searching for and old soul classic and it turned up on this cd which made the cd already worth its price and there were so many other old tunes from back in the day like this magic moment by the drifters and even a blues contribution from clarence carter not once but twice,both popular songs,amix of old school,a few fifties type tunes like great balls of fire by jerry lee lewis and i'm walkin' by fats domino lend a rock and roll element and there's a haunting rendtion of harlem nocturne by the viscounts which was a featured theme from the horror film christine in the 1980s so i found that this cd which features original recordings was worth so much more than what i paid."
