"Somebody called "Bruce Springstone" released a single of "The Flintsones Theme" sung in the style of Bruce Springsteen. That gave someone at Rhino Records the bright idea to do a whole album of TV theme songs performed in the style of famous singers. So, how is the album? Well, at 25 minutes it's kind of on the short side. As for the impersonations, some are better than others. The Elvis isn't all that great. My personal favorites here are "The Patty Duke Theme" done Bob Dylan style and "I Married Joan" a la Jimi Hendrix (both of these impersonations are done by Robert Aguayo, who also does a good Ric Ocasek here). Here is a list of which songs are done in what style:
1. The Ballad of Gilligan's Island - Rap(no rapper in particular)
2. Cousins - Bob Dylan
3. Casper the Friendly Ghost - Elvis Presley
4. The Yogi Bear Song - The Cars
5. George of the Jungle - Led Zeppelin
6. The Addams Family - Frank Sinatra
7. Rawhide - Michael Jackson
8. I Married Joan - Jimi Hendrix
9. The Brady Bunch - James Brown
10. Meet the Flintstones - Bruce Springsteen"
