"If you're going to pay full price for this series, you'd be better off buying the individual albums of your favorite artists. Since I picked this up as a cut-out from my local record store for a couple bucks, I feel it was a bargain for a couple reasons:1) It gave me a chance to hear some of the Windham Hill artists I wasn't familiar with. [For the most part, I've only bought albums by the guitarists on the label's roster, like founder William Ackerman who provides the gorgeous "The 1000 Mile Shore" and Alex de Grassi who offers the lovely "Sleeping Lady."]2) It was the only opportunity to get guitarist Daniel Hecht's wonderful "Autumn" on CD. [I have the vinyl album this was taken from, but Hecht is one of the few artists on Windham Hill whose entire catalog has been allowed to go out of print.]When I play this at school, my students cringe and call it elevator music. I call it relaxing. RECOMMENDED"
