"i basically bought this cd for the EXTREMELY hard-to-find song, "the way to your heart", by soulsister, a #41 hit in 1989. but there are also major hits from the 80's here as well, like "c'est la vie" (robbie nevil), "don't forget me (when i'm gone)", (glass tiger), "walking on sunshine", (katrina & the waves), "telefone (long distance love affair)", (sheena easton), "simply irresistible", (robert palmer), "the future's so bright, i gotta wear shades", (timbuck 3), "let's go all the way", (sly fox), "bette davis eyes" (kim carnes--the only #1 song in this collection), and another rarity, the minor hit "really sayin' somethin'", by the fun boy three with bananarama. overall, it's an intersesting and eclectic mix of songs, sure to bring back a few memories of a time when pop music was truly fun and exciting to listen to."
