"This is a prety good compilation CD that features many of the top Rock en Espanol bands in the US. This is party music in the old rude boy tradition, with a Latin twist. With bands names like Los Hooligans and Voodoo Glow Skulls I think you get the picture that these bands are irreverent and out to have a good time in the process. This CD serves one very good purpose and that is to introduce the listener to some very good bands and their brand of ska. "Supertortas" is a great song celebrating that wonderful Mexican version of the sandwich. The sax work rocks throughout the CD! "Greyhoound to Chiapas" by Yeska starts out jazzy and mellow then gets into a nice ska-jazzish groove that continues without vocals. This is the first in a series of releases by this record company that demonstrates the best of the current Latin Ska underground. If you like ska this is a very good collection of songs by different groups who are contributing to Ska en Espanol. The bands featured are diverse as their own individual CD's feature other styles that they incorporate into their sound. This is a good way to hear different bands. Good stuff in any language as these Latino rude boys rock!"
