Naturally this makes it the ideal destination for Jerome, the German house DJ who created his own series of mixes aptly named after party hot spots, inviting guest DJs to join him on his funky trip. Now, in 2007, he teams up with colleague Vincent van Borgen, a Dutch local newcomer who knows all the secret hotspots of his hometown Amsterdam. Together they musically guide the listener through the pulsating party capital, spinning fresh tracks by Amsterdam artists like DJ Pippi, Peter Presta, Yonderboi, Lenny Fontana, Claude Monnet and Rene Breitbarth. Included is even one production by Jerome and his studio friend Zamrate. The uplifting mix is a 74-minute homage to crazy, energetic, vocal driven, slightly messy house nights in one of the most breathtaking cities Europe has to offer and perfectly captures the essence of its electric vibe.
