"This is a great compilation, particularly for those who are either new to J-Pop or are looking for a good mix of R&B-influenced J-Pop tracks. I very much like all but one or two of these tracks.



The first track feels much like what someone like Maxwell would sing, if only he spoke Japanese. Track two is Sowelu's best (I highly recommend Geofu, the album this single is from -- skip Sweet Bridge, it's good but not great). Track 5--very catchy R&B. Jump by Michico--I haven't heard her other stuff, but she reminds me a bit of Destiny's Child (this is the one English track on the disc). SOUL'd Out--either you're going to love them or hate them. I think this is a very fun, very catchy J-Rap track along the likes of Will Smith (yes they're a bit fluffy, but I think they make for a great party band).
