"This album is OK it is not the best out there though. "Big Ten Inch" is alot better comp. This one has its moments though the best moment is "Rotten [...] Ball" by the Clovers yes the Clovers who did that "Love Potion # 9" garbage. It is total vocal harmonies a down dirty song from 1954 done and produced by none other than Ahmet Ertegun former CEO of Atlantic who brought Led Zeppelin to the world. The song was never released but its here in all its grimey dirty glory. This song is impossible to find I looked every where for it on limewire,and Mp3 sites to no avail. Until I looked up this CD. This song alone is worth the price of the CD. Also great is the old dirty song from 1945 by the Blenders "Don't [...] Around with Love", the hilarious Slim Gillard doing "Dirty Rooster [...] Off" where he clucks like a rooster in a veiled F bomb. The Motown song "Better Think Twice" is given the X rated treatment Detroit Style by Doo Wop legends Jackie Wilson and Laverne Baker in a funny knee slapping insultathon. These songs aside the CD is OK it will make you laugh not all the songs are from the good Ole' days. Most of them are 1970's versions of old Doo Wop, Country, Blues, even Raggae and Rockabilly! Sometimes the sound quality is awful even for my tastes, three songs in paticular you can barely even hear the damn song. I don't mind scratchy or uneven production thats for [...] stickler audiophiles who can't stand the actual primitve coolness of down dirty Rock n' Roll but you know what? I want to at least hear the damn thing! Now I'd recommend this to people who like me search for the rare, dirty, and bizzare gems of the golden age of music the songs I just mentioned are worth it. If you order off of Amazon your going to have to wait a while and I'm not patient so I found a person who wanted to get rid of his and got it. If you are a begginer in the dirty music world I'd suggest the comp "Ride Daddy Ride" that'd be a good place to start but if you are a collecter the songs on this are well worth the money."
