CD ReviewsAmazon Blues J. Moody | USA | 03/17/2007 (4 out of 5 stars) "I really like this CD. It's great to hear indigenous music from South America. To the average westerner, this songs will hardly sound like music, at least at first. There's a lot of subtle rythms and harmonies in the music. The chants are very hypnotic. The track titled Ceremonee du kuarupis amazing. The track starts off slowly with a subtle rattle and the sound of the villiage in the background and then build to a one-man rattle and chant that I can only discribe as 'Amazon blues.' A must for the aspiring ethnomusicologist."
