Midwest undaground flava

"Very nice cd with a few tracks that I skip over. The album is mainly Gary Indiana and Chicago flava with the exception of track 12 with Coo Coo Cal, Oznola and Do it to Death from milwaukee on a remix of pull up on ya block. The cd could use some flava from Do or Die, Crucial Conflict, Tech N9ne, DA smart, D-Fly, Thrid Shift and the Grind Family. The cd start out with a melodic intro and kicks right into Yung Buk doin his thang to perfection. After that Ric Jilla the swisha killa lights it up and K Killa gets his thang off. The Newsense remix is nice as well as the freestyle from twista. Coo Coo Cal does his thang wit his boys from da mil and Family Cartel jumps off as well as the MCG'z. Triple Darkness is on here which is no surprise and they do their thang well too. EC ILLA aka white folks comes correct wit his song which was produced by the Legendary Traxster. All in all I recomend it especially if you follow the Midwest Underground...thank god they left feminem off this cd maybe they could have put the best rapper in D-Town on here aka Royce da 5'9"....I suggest also checkin out Midwest Mobstaz Vol 2 and 3 and watch for new releases from Twista, Ric Jilla and Crucial Conflict in 2003"
Midwest Mobstaz

"It's a pretty decent album. The songs are mixed together real good. There aint that many tracks that I skip. The only downfall to the album is that the album is only Chi and Gary artists with the exception if Coo Coo Cal. I wish The CWAL Ballaz song would have Father Tyme or Thirdshift in the sopt Of Dun-D. His verse was terrible. Some of those spots with bad songs should;ve been filled with artists from different areas or at least better Chi artists like D-Fly, Quarta Ounce or Snypaz. Midwest Mobstaz Vol. 2 is out and you can buy it at Wickedentertainment.com or Thetipcds.com."
