"The music arrived in time for Christmas and I would say to all who aprreciate good guitar and Christmas music in one to buy it!"
Different for Christmas

"If, like me, you are looking for a different take on Christmas songs, look here. Some great versions of songs you've a hundred times before. Gives me an opportunity to mix in some great guitar sounds with the traditional holiday stuff. Great guitar playing never goes out of season !"
Next to TSO, this may be the BEST Hard Rock Christmas album

(5 out of 5 stars)

"I originally discovered this CD several years ago after becoming familiar with Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO). I love the blend of hard rock with Christmas music and decided to search out other similar CDs. This particular CD is probably next in line to TSO as being the best out there, although I can't say that definitively as I have yet to hear everything that is available.

However, if you love guitar based rock music and Christmas music, you definitely can't go wrong here. There is not one bad song on this disc and the flow of the music from start to finish is well arranged. I don't find myself getting disinterested at any point. The songs by Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Joe Perry are the best in my mind but all the others are very good as well. Jeff Beck's version of Amazing Grace gives me goosebumps and Richie Sambora performing O Holy Night is another one that will elicit some emotion.

All together, this collection of songs is very underrated and deserves more attention from those seeking this type of music."
