"Overall, a great album...although I'm more of a tekno guy then goa, I really, really got into Burning Man...it rocks!!! Got me into the whole field actually...this is a very intense album that doesn't miss a beat...definitely recommend it as a permanent part of your collection."

"1998 was my frist Burning Man experience, and it won't be the last. I picked up the CD after I heard Goa Gil spin the night of the Burn. The experience was kinetic and all-powerful. This CD captures much of the energy of the music, though it doesn't (and can't) measure up the real experience. I've only recently been into goa, so I can't compare it against too many others, but it is definitely good stuff. Recommended."
An interesting mix of all forms of techno

"Live At Burning Man is a 2 disc non-stop dose of acid, jungle, and trance techno. The rhythm stays at a steady pace most of the time, with only a few dull tracks. It's alot better and faster than most American techno, so it's definetly worth a listen if you like electronic music. Astral Projection is still my personal favorite for this type of music...be sure to check out their work as well."
Goa trance bliss

"Got this primarily for the Kode IV connection, but it's a fantastic couple of mixes. Disc 1 is mixed by Goa Gill (who joined Kode IV after Hans Schiller's death; the result being an evolution of KIV into some heavy trance territory). Disc 2 is Ceiba and Kode IV (2 of the 8 or so tracks), but they mix well, likely because Ceiba is Peter Ziegelmeier of KIV and someone else. Some of it is just stunning, and leaves KIV's Silicon Civilization in the dust."
