CD Reviews

Le Super Groove!
Karen M. Ozturk | The Hamptons, New York | 02/17/2001

"'Le Groove Eclectique" is the best compilation of lounge dance music. A super international vibe creates the perfect atmosphere good for dancing. Get ready to escape your present state and take a "journey". Your mind takes flight and the body follows!Amidst this marvellous bounty Mark Gorbulew has woven a true gem called "Haman", his own original composition. All I can say is....YES!!!!I do believe a new master has arrived on the scene. Mark Gorbulew musically weaves you into a groove like no other. "Please, Sir, I want some more.....""

"I love this cd!With thousands of discs in my collection, some titles get less attention then others.I can say, this will not be one of them."le groove" is full of interesting and intriguing rhythms from around the globe. While being categorized as a dance cd, it seems it has a wider scope than that."Matress Mambo" by Sven Van Hees is a sexy chill out groove,""Yablet" by Amel Wahby is pop.Sung in Arabic, but still pop...I love a catchy tune! Then the disc twists with jazz elements,Brazilian influences, african dashes and arabic intentions .A truely global view of music that sits under a dance umbrella. The beats don't annoy, they're easy, and wrap themselves around the listner and helps to create a space where one can get lost in....For me a unique disc, and one that I will be listening to over and over again"
Music with talent, marketing not necessary!

"Finally something available, which obviously makes use of talented artists and not marketable individuals.....Brittany Spears, 'NSync. This is a phenomenal album and it would take a genius to be able to compile such a contrast of music. Speaking as a DJ, I would recommend purchasing 2 copies so that you can go between discs bouncing from track to track seemlessly, even though the songs are so varied they work well together."
