Klezmer music is the traditional instrumental music of Yiddish-speaking Jews from Eastern Europe. The word is derived from the Hebrew words "klee" (instrument) and "zemer" (song). The clarinet and the violin are considered to be the dominant leaders of the klezmer instruments.
