"we are into the beat & having a ball"

"Hip-O Records presents a fun album that will blow you away. It's the Jerry Bruckheimer production of "Kangaroo Jack", in which we clap our hands and sing "HEY BABY", by DJ OTZI featuring a non-stop disco beat mixed with a heavy foot-stomping cue. Now listen as "TAINTED LOVE", with Soft Cell telling it like it is, take my tears and that's not the limit, some heart-wrenching lyrics. Check out the Paulina Rubio rendition of "CASANOVA", it's about your kiss and the way you move your body---the latin-beat begin. Why are you taking so long by Shawn Desman with "SPREAD MY WINGS", and just soar away and always push me away. And who could forget "START THE COMMOTION", performed by the Wiseguys featuring Greg Nice, just put the body in motion and leave the rest to this rhythmic CD.A stand out is "RAPPER'S DELIGHT", by non other than Sugarhill Gang, try sitting still to this one, you can't. Just when you thought you heard it all "DOWN UNDER", sends Colin Hay breaking all the barriers. Finally reggae steps in with "ROCK DA JUICE", The Dude sends us into O-O Ah, gotta love it!Total Time: 43:44 on 2 Tracks ~ Hip-O 440 067 194 2 ~ (2002)"

"As a mother of two boys under 8, I tend to only listen to their music in the car. It is nice to get a cd that I can enjoy as well."

"Some of the songs on this soundtrack are great, but there are others that I certainly could have done without. The CD starts out right with a great variation of Hey Baby. When I first played it; I couldn't resist turning it up and singing along. This song is energetic and so much fun and the CD continues with this high energy and rhythm. It's a collection of music to just let lose and going wild to. Most of the music selections found here are common and familiar. For example: get wound up in Start The Commotion by Wiseguys, one of my top favorites along with: Colin Hay's "I come from the land Down Under". Jock music meets rap in the arrangement of track number eight, titled: 2-Way. Where Lil' Romeo and Master P bust a rhyme with the repetitive "It Takes Two" background beat. The "whoo-ha" in the last track: The Dude by Rock Da Juice is entertaining and this makes the song that much more contagious because of it, even when I can't clearly make out what they're saying. On the plus side, if you're into it, this soundtrack is certainly something that will keep you dancing and moving. CD comes with a movie poster, fourteen inches tall by nine and a half inches wide (36 x 24 cm). One side has the kangaroo image and logo as seen on the soundtrack cover and the reverse side has a collage of scenes from the movie."
