This is a great album! Arlo Guthrie, Tom Rush and Eric Andersen sing also.

CD Reviews

If Beauty has a voice, it is Judy Collins's.

"This CD is great because of its variety from Judy and her friends. I also think Judy Collins is at her best during live performances. Two sad songs are on this CD. "Wings of Angels" is about her son's death and "Kingdom Come" is about 9/11. She sang "Kingdom Come" at her Oct. 12th concert here, and listening to the song on the CD is just as powerful as hearing (and seeing) her live performance. Here is an edited portion of the song, copyright April 11, 2002, by Judy Collins:"Those firemen loaded up with gear
Climbed to their death's that day
Along with all the other hundreds
Blasted on their way
Police and EMS and those
On whom death took its toll
And more whose dreams will never dawn,
More than three thousand souls ... ."
"Those firemen with courage
In their hearts so strong and brave,
Who made sure in their final hours
There were 30,000 saved.
"They've gone to where there are no tears
And every heart is gay,
And they won't be forgotten on a sunny day.
"To Kingdom come, to hell and gone
To somewhere far away
Where murder doesn't break the heart
On a sunny day."Judy Collins is the best."
WHY NOT THE DVD, TOO ?

"WONDERFUL JUDY !
Just "three little words" : Grace, versatility, innervoices ...
Arlo Guthrie is well known abroad (Alice's Restaurant Fame), Eric Andersen's "Thirsty Boots " is a classic as Andersen's "Little Mermaid". Tom Rush is a discover for a foreigner.
What a nice team !
Judy knows how to choose and share real great friends.
A lifetime fan from the "old continent"."
