Diamond Dave | Chicago, Home of the Blues | 01/20/2007 (3 out of 5 stars) "This is an ok, low-budget set of holiday offering from the Ichiban stable of r&b and blues tinged artists. There are no real yuletide chestnuts amoung the dozen offerings but if you are a fan of blues-themed Christmas offerings this will do the trick. It does not get real down and dirty -Chick Willis is the grittiest bluesman on board for this seasonal grouping. B.B. Coleman sounds a lot like another more famous B.B., but that's ok. William Bell re-records his Stax-Volt classic" "Every Day Will Be Like A Holiday". At 12 tunes it is a little short on material, but the price is right during the season of giving."
