"If you truly don't have ANYTHING to use as background music for your next Halloween party, you might want to purchase HAVE A HOWLIN' HALLOWEEN, for it is significantly better than most Halloween party CDs: the "name" tracks are the original recordings by the original (or at least most celebrated) artists and none seem to have been edited for inclusion.Even so, HOWLIN' HALLOWEEN suffers from the liabilities common to such party CDs. Although each of the "name" tracks are quite good in and of themselves, they are not greatly inspired selections; the CD contains several cuts that can only be called pure filler; and the play time is fairly short--and if this CD is your only musical recourse you'll have heard every one of these songs a dozen times before the party ends.You are much better off making your own tape or burning your own CD of favorites from your own collection--but it is here that HOWLIN' HALLOWEEN does actually score a bit, for it includes the hard-to-find theme from the 1960s television series "The Munsters" and the equally hard-to-find theme from the class "B" horror flick THE BLOB, both of which come in handy when you want to do your own compilation.GFT, Amazon Reviewer"
