"This is just one awsome collection of music. If you loved the 80s metal this needs to be in your collection. Long Live Heavy Metal"
Spandex, big hair, screaching guitars, life is good!

"It's 1986, you're at your favorite heavy metal club, pumping your fist in the air, bangin your head, and flailing your hair! Life was a party! These were the bands you flocked to see. Nice collection of 80 metal. Granted the slant is toward the MTV pretty boy bands, but the emphasis here is on riff rockin' fun. I don't know where they get off on including Priest's "Parental Guidance" or Sam Kinison, though. But it would cost a lot of money and take a long time to collect this stuff on your own. If you long for the days when songs actually had a guitar solo, what are you waiting for?"

"I do not own this box set, but I remember most of these songs. This cd set seems to be ok, and may satisfy some. But how can you title a Metal Cd Set as "Youth Gone Wild", and not include Skid Row's song "Youth Gone Wild" on it? The song "Youth Gone Wild" is one of the best rock anthems from the 80's ever written. This is like another Cd compilation I've seen before. It was a compilation of power ballads from the 80's like "Every Rose has its Thorn" as so forth. It was titled "Love Bites", yet it didn't include the #1 hit power ballad by Def Leppard entitled "Love Bites". These record companies need to learn how to select songs that go on an album."
