The exciting drumming traditions of the Americas - ranging from Native American drumming of the Great Plains to the tropical rhythms of the rainforest - are featured on this unique release. The drums are framed by a variety of instruments including the Native American flutes as well as nature sounds to draw the listener into the power of the rhythm. Performers include: Alice Gomez, Pete "Wyoming" Bender, Eric Casillas, The Mesa Music Consort and The Native Flute Ensemble. A large variety of authentic percussion instruments are used on this release including Native American pow-wpw drums, African congas and bata drums.
