"This is an excellent CD (especially at this price). I regard it highly as I have found it impossible to get hold of Blood Chet and Tears by Chet Baker and this CD has three tracks off that album - Evil Ways, Spinning Wheel and the brilliant 'Vehicle'. Other stand out tracks include 'California Dreaming' by Wes Montgomery and Everydays by Kenny Burrell. Highly recommended....."
A very fun CD

"Back in the late sixties and early seventies, some of the big names in jazz recorded some of the pop hits of the times. The results were on a bunch of CDs but a pile of them were put on this one disc. It's not jazz at it's best (especially in Chet Baker's case) but all the tracks are very interesting covers of some classic songs and it is a very fun CD to listen to. It's even extra fun if your familiar with the artists on the album. Oscar Peterson's "Satisfaction" (Yes, the Rolling Stones song) is the highlight. I highly recomend this CD to fans of this era. Have fun."
