No continuity but good value to obtain specific songs.

"This 3-cd set is a good value for the money, but if you collect 70's sets as I do, you will find there is no continuity to the songs on the album in terms of the feeling behind them. the only common factors seem to be 1) that they were played on white-kid am during the early to mid 70's and 2) that the music publisher could obtain rights to include them on the cheap. So, if you want to capture some particular song, get it, otherwise find a collection like super hits of the 70's by rhino, razor & tie cd's, musicspace.com cd's, timelife cd sets like 'am gold', ultimate funk/disco sets, or if you can find 'em used, cbs 'sound of the seventies.' by the way, be careful of some other brands that offer songs by other than original artists made to sound like the hits and worse, songs re-recorded by the originals, and even worse, cd's with some originals and some re-recorded versions! :) scott"
