CD Reviews

This IS Vice City

"Wow. For those who remember the 80's, for those who were never a part of the 80's, and for those who are still trying to remember the 80's, this one's for you. These are the best songs from GTA: Vice City, and they're not joking - each song is different and will mean different things, but together they do a good job of encompassing the feel of the 80's. If you like the game or the music but don't feel like buying the box set, I don't blame you - but buy this instead. Definitely worth the money for a truly fantastic cd."
A little of this and a little of that

"The single disc Grand Theft Auto Greatest Hits CD aims to be a compilation to appease fans of all of the various radio stations included on the Rock Star Games Game Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. So basically their are a few songs from each channel. From Wave 103 you have "I Ran" by the Flock of Seagulls a song which now is almost instantly linked with Vice City due to it's use in the commercials for the game and More Than This by Roxy Music. From Flash FM you have Hall And Oates-"Out of Touch", basically you get the idea. This CD is a little of this and a little of that. If their are some stations on the game you can just totally do without then you migth find yourself skipping tracks on this CD, so I would suggest either buying the entire box set or the individual station CD's. Songs 10-14 really blend well together and then they are followed by some of the songs from the Spanish station. This one is okay if you are just looking for a sampler of some of the songs on the soundtrack.
