"As a professional dancer, I never did quite get into all of the tabla's and Egyptian music, and Persian left something to be desired for me. Hindu pop was too jarring, and Pentaphobe (done for Rachel Brice) is great but not really suited for all styles.
And then I found this album. I strongly recommend Soul Talk, Voice from the Moon, and Om Om. It's a little bit techno, a little bit Egyptian, a little bit funk, a little bit traditional, and it lends itself to some amazingly creative and well-done dance."
Fabulous new age trance dance/bellydance music

"I love this CD. It's great for dance meditation, alternative tribal bellydance, listening. Also great for use with practicing slow arms, hands, & hip moves. The melodies are great, supported by rhythm from the Bellydance Superstar's drummer. It is not at all traditional bellydance, so don't get it if that's what you're seeking. It is a wonderfully relaxing CD. New age bellydancing is probably the best description."
Upbeat dance rhythms - highly recommended

"I first heard this CD tonight at a hafla (bellydance party) and it was terrific! Usually there will only be one or two good pieces on a bellydance CD, but every track on this one made me want to get up and move so I'm ordering it tonight. If you enjoy bellydance music with an upbeat, peppy rhythm, you cannot go wrong with this CD."

"Seldom do I buy a CD I can play from start to finish in my classes. Usually I burn my own mixes. This offers many refreshingly different sounds--some funky and fun, some slow and peaceful. The tempos are mostly steady (good for teaching beginner and intermediate classes) and there's a modern edge to this music without being electronic or trancey. I'm currently performing to 2 of the pieces here, solo and with tribal fusion troupe because the pieces have so much color! This is a good one!"
