Australia's top musical talent has come together to create 'Friends of the Rainbow Warrior', Greenpeace Australia Pacific's first ever CD. The CD includes 14 tracks from some of Australia's top pop acts and diverse electronic and hip hop outfit from acts including Jet, Missy Higgins, John Butler Trio and Ben Lee. The CD marks the 20th anniversary of the French Bombing of the Rainbow Warrior in Auckland Harbour on 10 July 1985, which was a major turning point for the environmental movement worldwide. Greenpeace hopes these songs will inspire music fans to join the movement for a green and peaceful future. Everyone involved in this project has donated time, skills and freindly rates to continue the tradition of Greenpeace's continuing charitable work. Inertia. 2005.
