A strong selection of more than 70 songs that are a cross between African and Middle Eastern styles, which is the Ethiopian sound. Four of the discs have vocal parts which I enjoy, many with sizable instrumental passages. But my two favorite discs are the all-instrumental ones. I find the music mesmerizing--strangely relaxing and invigorating at the same time. I recommend it to any world music lover or any adventurous music listener. If you've never heard Ethiopian music, you owe it to yourself to listen to some of the samples. 2 of 2 member(s) found this review helpful.
