(4 out of 5 stars)

"The list of songs on this disc is as follows

2. All that she wants- Ace of Base

3. I'm gonna be (500 miles)- The Proclaimers

4. I'll never get over you (Getting over me)- Expose

5. Informer- Snow

6. Rebirth of Slick (Cool like dat)- Digable Planets

7. I got a man- Positive K

8. Weak- SWV

9. Whoomp! There it is- Tag Team

10. Gangsta Lean- D.R.S.

11. If I had no loot- Tony Toni Tone

12. Looking through patient eyes- PM Dawn

The disc sounds great, although if you compare it to other compilations from the early 90's, you will notice that many songs are similar to this disc, especially "I'm gonna be" and "Whoomp! There it is" seem to be on every single compilation from the early 90's. This disc doesn't seem to have many of the biggest songs from '93, but having "All that she wants", "Informer", and "Whoomp! There it is" are three of the biggest songs of the year. It is odd, in retrospect, speaking of the Tag Team song, that those four words said over and over and over, could have been such a big hit, but there you go. This disc seems to lean heavily to rap and R and B, but that is what was popular on the radio in '93."
