"A good compilation CD of some of todays best hidden musical secrets from around the globe! This is some good techno/house/dub/bass that you won't hear on the radio. This is music to be experienced. If you don't feel like moving after hearing this CD ... there's something wrong with your nervous system!"

"I actually recieved this CD by mistake when I ordered a different electronica compilation...and fell in love with it! 'Elektronika' is a great cross-section of some of the more obscure mixologists working in 1997. All the cuts are interesting and show a wide range of the many sounds known as 'electronica', but here are some standouts:'Mr. Kirk' by 4 Hero, an eerie and yet groovin' mix with a policeman informing a woman her son is dead over some kick-booty beats. Strange!'Rampant Prankster' by SLAB, a great album-opener, attention-grabbing without being obnoxious.And my personal favorite: 'Witch Doktor' by some genius named Armand Van Helden ( ! ). This features a killer beat mixed with a submarine dive horn and someone chanting 'Witch Doktor'. Like all the best techno cuts, you never want it to end!Anyway, all the cuts have something good going for them, and since this disc is usually VERY low priced; techno fans should definitely pick it up!"
