"This is one of the worst compilations ever composed. Oh where to begin? First, a couple of guys here said it right - some of the songs are not by the original artists and this is the reason why the names of the artists are not included ANYWHERE on this compilation. Who are they trying to fool? The first track is "supposedly" by DJ Quicksilver and I Have A Dream followed by an obvious reproduction of some sort of Faithless and Insomnia. The production work on that particular song is absolutely terrifying! I was able to identify two original tracks, though: BBE - Flash (I think track 12) and Chicane - Offshore '97 (the last track). There is also an obvious reproduction of Daft Punk and Around the World. Altogether, I have no idea how they managed to create/reproduce these remixes, but truthfully, they do sound extremely annoying and they are definitely NOT by the original artists. Seriously though, anyone who will purchase this compilation and knows Electronica well would be able to notice this immediately. You usually recognize good compilations (such as Ibiza '99 - The Year of Trance), but this one is definitely not it. Also, don't let Amazon.com's "Previews" get to you. Just look at the recent reviews and decide for yourself if this compilation is worth it."
A bad joke

"Someone is trying to cash in with other people's work. There are millions of electronic compilations available, with songs performed by the ORIGINAL artists. That is not the case with this CD. This is a fraud."
Ok mix, but cut off some tracks

"While the overall mix of the album was ok, they cut off some tracks, such as Around the World. This makes one wonder if they did so to others. The overall effect was one of a sampler CD of some great artists. There are better compilation albums out there, take time and look."
I returned this CD

"Here is an e-mail I sent to the manufacturer.... I justbought your album, Electronica thru Amazon.comI read the reviews, and said to myself... how bad can this be?Let me just say... you exceeded my expectations... this is one of the worst ways I have found to spend money.I DJ weekly at an under 21 nightclub, mixing up house and trance. I thought this would be a good way to reduce my load of classics by consolidating! What a mistake.... these songs are not by the original artists, and are poorly remixed... Which is I guess why the Artist names are not listed on the CD... certainly not strong enough to play in a club, they definitely lack the power the originals have. By the way did I mention it would be nice to use the originals... and spice them up a little... to each their own I guess...Anyway I guess I am the moron, for not listening to the reviews....

"This compilation is not that good. First, the remixes are extremely strange and annoying. About three songs are in their original versions. The other were remixed and the production/recording work of these remixes are not that good, especially Inmsonia (supposedly by Faithless). Overall, some of the songs date back to 1995 and 1996. Furthermore, the artists' names are not listed, which is extremely annoying. Down to the essentials, this compilation is not that good, period."
