"Make sure you like most of these tracks, because there's some filler (Frankie Valli??), the sound quality is variable (Van McCoy and George McRae sound like they were transferred from an old cassette), and there are no extended club versions. Earlier volumes in the Disco Nights series are better value."

An excellent series - Disco-lovers should buy these CD's!

"This series is the best one around in disco-music, but unfortunately it is running out. Although there would be much more categories for a lot more volumes, this series and the Rebound-label will not be continued because of the takeover of Polygram by Universal. So disco-loving people should order these CD's in the near future. I like to give all volumes 5 Stars, because of the fantasic compilation (a lot of famous but also some rare stuff), many full-length (and hard to get) versions (okay, some of them are a little bit shorten) and the good price, except Vol.9 (there are only 10 than 12 tracks on it - stupid Motown-policy), Vol.10 (nearly the whole stuff is on the other ten Volumes too) and this Vol.11, because there are no full length versions on it no more. All in all I have so much joy listening to these CD's that I'm giving the whole series 5 (and more) Stars."
