"Instrumental music for quiet times with God is an excellent idea which is masterfully accomplished in this collection of well-known hymns. With sixteen songs, this CD can be played repetitively with no concern about too much frequency. The choice of songs fits in perfectly with the theme of hope. It starts with "Be Thou My Vision," and ends with "Holy, Holy, Holy." Consequently, the hope is based on the Giver of Hope, Jesus.

The Scripture on the back cover, John 14:1-2 reminds listeners to trust in God and not let their hearts be troubled. Musically, another positive feature of this CD is that the volume and tempo of the songs are all similiar. There is no abrupt jarring from soft to heavy then back again, like is found in some collections. One can put this CD on, relax, prayer, meditate, and even drift into sleep undisturbed. This is an excellent work."
