"There's one thing you can say about Steve Van Zandt- he's got a great ear for high quality rock 'n roll (remember the Arc Angels?) This album is just one great garage rock mash-up, filled with at least 10 "shoulda been hits." Not to mention that if you need to get the party hopping, just put this on and watch what happens. It runs the gamut from psychedelia to jangle to fuzz, and it's good at all of them. And as always, Steve's liner notes are a lot of fun. Can't miss with this one."

"I just received volumes 1, 2 & 3. I can't get out of volume 1!!! This is some really, really GOOD rock'n'roll. This collection reminds me of listening to Ol' Howards Rock and Roll Jukebox radio program from WAMU in Washington DC back in the mid-70's. For you kiddies who listen to the stuff of nowadays...give this cd a listen!"
