Great variety of brass styles

"As someone familiar with symphonic, jazz, classical, and just about anything else you can do with brass, I feel that this is a winner. The jazzed up version of In the Hall of the Mountain King is an incredible interpretation. I have played some of this music myself, and the quality of the artists here is unsurpassed. I have been a Canadian Brass fan for years and can tell you that this is a great forum for them. The other groups' jazz stylings lend a nice contrast to the pure Brass sounds from the gentlemen of the Mapleleaf. All in all, this CD is a great value for any fan of brass."
